Separation Has been Dealt With

Rom. 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The veil is torn; the tomb is empty; the cross is no longer standing. These three images were very fresh in the minds of The Disciples just a few weeks after Christ’s Resurrection. They represent efforts to separate. The enemy of our souls has always contrived his plans for the purpose of separation. Isolation and detachment are plans of destruction. Marriages, relationships and employment all have an evil enemy. That enemy is “Separation”. All works of “Separation” of the devil are manufactured to move you a place of isolation; then destruction.

The Veil – throughout the centuries since the Crucifixion Satan has tried to sew up the veil…in other words he has tried to empower a religious separation between God and man… Matt. 27:50-52 Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised… boldness to enter…Heb. 10:19-22…Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith…

The Tomb – John 20 They saw the empty tomb…Death is defeated and Christ “Is” returning…an empty tomb is THE Testimony of Christ alive and returning…a joyous plan…

The Cross - Lays powerless on the could not separate Him from God or The World He loves. Acts 2:24 God raised (Him) up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it (death, cross). Those nails didn’t have enough power to hold Him to that cross (tree).

(Duet. 21:23) Gal 3:13 - Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”).

That old serpent once spoke from a tree to deceive. Then he tried to use a tree to mock, kill and separate Christ. Separate Him from God and the world He loves, but it work out as a plan for freedom. Now the Cross that laid powerless to separate Christ from God’s plan now empowers God’s plan. 1 Cor. 1:18…the message of the “cross” is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

Joseph’s words in Gen. 50:20 ring loud and strong…what is meant for evil God brought good…Rom. 8:28…
