Strengthened Hands
Praise Fans The Flame

Isa. 35:3 “…Strengthen the feeble hands,
steady the knees that give way…”

Neh. 6:9 “…For they all wanted to make us afraid, thinking,
“Their hands will become weak
and the work will not be done.”
But now, O God, strengthen my hands…”

1 Tim. 2:8 “…In every place of worship, I want men to pray
with holy hands lifted up to God,
free from anger and controversy.”

Weakened hands often are result of frustrating views of The Work (Opportunities) that God has placed before His Church. Spiritual warfare will also weaken the grip and weaken the walk when fighting the enemy takes the focus away from pleasing the Father.

Work and Spiritual Warfare are incredibly energy draining. One of the biggest energy sappers is emotion. I remember hearing an NFL running back tell an ESPN sports analyst something worth hearing.  His father told him when you are tackled let those big linemen help you up. It will help you save energy for the next run. He also said, “Don’t jump up quickly”. That point was to take a breath, get focused and then regain your concentration, essentially regroup. His dad said he’s seen other running backs push, shove, jump up quickly and use up energy that has nothing to do with the game plan. Then by the end of the game they are more exhausted from emotion than they are from doing their job.

God gives opportunity on a daily basis. Many Believers fall into a trap of fighting intimidating voices. Voices barking out powerless propaganda. Those intimidations mean nothing when God is acknowledged as Supreme.

If you listen you should be able to hear the Father say, “My child I am with you, keep yourself from reacting to the world, respond to Me, says The Lord!”

  • I will not leave or forsake you! Duet. 31:6, Heb. 13:5
  • I will supply according to My riches! Phil. 4:19
  • The battle is Mine! 2 Chron. 20:15
  • My plans are to prosper you not to harm you! Jer. 29:11
  • I will make a way where there seems to be no way. Isa 43
  • I give you life to the full! John 10:10
  • I will deliver you! Ps. 50, Jer. 15, Ps. 91…
  • I am your Healer! Ex. 15:26, Isa. 53…
  • I am your Savior! Isa. 43:11
  • Do not become discouraged I see what you cannot see!      2 Cor. 4:1

Standing when everyone else falls isn’t about being better than everyone else. It’s about understanding what makes standing possible. (2 Peter 1:3-10) Let’s cry out to God to Strengthen… Isa. 35:3 Strengthen weak knees... Nehemiah 6:9. In keeping with the message of content of Nehemiah let’s look at a real and up to date defense for the attack and a necessary prayer...They (the enemies that drain strength are, those who’ve rejected us, those who’ve abandoned us, those who prophesy demise, those who don’t understand us. They can take away strength and attention) they want to make us afraid saying our hands are to weak for the work. We say, “strengthen our hands Lord for the work.”

I recently heard people in this modern age are Hyper Individualistic. This reality is causing a sense of chaos to become widespread. Everyone wants to be heard but the truth is we have very little to say. What is being said are descriptions of dislikes and wrongs of previous generations. In this day of “Emotional Drain” & “Hyper Individualistic” efforts let us draw closer together.

Remember there are those who want to distract and control. Nehemiah gives a clear directive of how Satan uses people...Neh. 6:9 “They want to make us afraid...” But the prayer is “strengthen our hands and strengthen our knees oh Lord! We lift up Holy Hands without wrath and doubting...knowing “Perfect Love casts out all fear...”

Our hands must be strong for the work, ready for opportunities.

Then I prayed strengthen my hands…
