Walls of Comparison (Removed)
A Taste of the Eternal

One reason we struggle with insecurity is we compare our
behind the scenes to everyone else’s high light reel.
 Steve Furtick

May God himself, the God of peace,
sanctify you through and through.
May your whole spirit, soul and body
be kept blameless at the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thes. 5:23

Very truly I tell you, whoever hears
my word and believes Him who sent me
has eternal life and will not be judged
but has crossed over from death to life.
John 5:24

Recent messages have included the removal of the “Cultural Wall”.  We’ve challenged each of us to deal with “Walls of Hindrance”.  The message of Zech. 2:4-5 remains as the foremost desire from God. Our hope for God to be the “Glory Within” is paramount to becoming all that He desires for us.

Today a look at the “Wall of Comparison” will move each of us closer to unlimited access to God’s plan for our lives. Faith in God has more “Spiritual Reality” than what any of us have seen or experienced.

It is human to compare.  The normal way to see if something is working is to compare it to its working counterpart.  In the realm of quality and normalcy there is always the right and wrong.  If you have a shovel and never used one before it is always good to see someone use one properly. Unfortunately in understanding what God has for us comparing often, you might say too often, comparing ourselves to others is both distracting and restricting.  Phycologists have determined that comparisons are one of the primary intrusions to relationships. Comparisons leave people believing others are better all the while distracting themselves from personal responsibility.  There is also the comparison that takes away the passion to triumph over restrictive circumstances.

Please, please, please see what God has for YOU!  Learn from others yes, yes. Limit yourself because of others no, no!

The ways of God are overwhelmingly beyond infinite.  Meaning whatever you’ve seen from a life made free and filled with God’s Glory is only a taste of the eternal.  HTC let’s move beyond what we’ve seen… So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Cor. 4:18

  • Stay fresh in Relationship with God  (Jeremiah at the potter’s house)

The enemy continues to use jealousy, envy, hate, anger, loss and lack as tools to hinder people from gaining freedom from their past.  Remember “The Fire God” placed on your altar? Repenting of even a hint of jealousy, envy, hate, anger, loss or lack is wood to that fire…

Gal. 2:4 …false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves again.

Praying - Serving – The Word of God – Worship – Unity in The Body of Christ all help with A Fresh Relationship with God.

  • Stay unique.

The enemy stifles creativity by keeping people focused on being uninvolved.  He seems to convince us that hiding from being servants is ok. We, with unique lives, serve God as we serve others.

Stormie Ormartian     “You Are Unique”

  • Stay free.  (Do not be entangled again…Gal. 5:1)

Free in Christ is a reality that needs our attention.

The “Freedom” with the “Unique” life
in “Relationship” with God is inspiring.

When the restricting “Walls of Comparison” are broken down the power of God is released into a needy world.  The Father releases you as Light & Salt! Matt. 5:13, 14
